Corymbia citriodora is a handsome gum tree with a smooth white to pink trunk and a strong and very attractive lemon smell to the foliage. It grows particularly strong in damp conditions and is good for temperate areas.

It grows to around 35 metres tall, so is best suited to parks and large properties. A good tree for honey production, and refined oil from the leaves is used as an insect repellant. This tree looks wonderful for avenue planting, where the pale smooth trunks are shown off to perfection.
