Hamamelis x intermedia 'Jelena' is a lovely floriferous Witchhazel that bursts open with the first warmth of Spring. Coppery red spidery fragrant flowers are born on a multibranched shrub that slowly grows to 3.5m x 3.5m.

After flowering, broadly oval green leaves appear on gracefully acsending branches, changing to attractive shades of yellow and red in autumn.

A large deciduous shrub that is hardy in sun to part shade and enjoys a moist, well-drained, acidic soil.
