This tall deciduous tree is valued for its beautiful autumn tones and attractive bark. In Autumn its maple-like foliage boasts a gorgeous array of colours from red, yellow and orange to purple.

A very hardy, frost tolerant deciduous tree growing 20m x 20m with upright pyramidal form. One of the finest ornamental trees in cultivation. Branches are ridged with a distinctive corky bark. Will flourish under very warm conditions in full sun, provided that some moisture is available in summer. Has deep root system.
